Head of Foreign Direct Investment, Isle of Man Government
John, as Head of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI), is responsible for delivering the Isle of Man’s FDI strategy. John has a particular interest in developing the Island’s proposition to support entrepreneurs and businesses in sourcing funding at all stages of their growth.
Previous to his current Government position, John worked in the Island’s financial services sector for over 12 years, including senior management roles at both HSBC Bank and Coutts & Co, where he managed an extensive private client portfolio.
John established his own financial consultancy business back in 2010 and since then has sat on the board of two Isle of Man-based pension companies, worked in a development and advisory capacity for several Fiduciary providers and established an extensive network of international contacts.
When not working, John spends time with his family and, when time allows, enjoys kayaking, reading and a round of golf.
